Marrakech
Royal Palm Golf & Country Club
A golf estate facing the Atlas.
The story
Royal Palm was designed by Cabell B. Robinson, the American architect, on a 231-hectare estate on the road to Amizmiz, about 12 km from the medina.
The snowy foothills of the Atlas form the backdrop. Every bunker was rebuilt in recent years, and it is ranked among the ten best courses in Morocco.
A Fairmont hotel stands on the estate, so the clubhouse, the range and a quiet dinner are all a few steps apart.
Highlights
The course sits in a large estate of olive trees, with the mountains behind the greens.
