The route

Day by day

All by road, in one private van, with a night’s rest between the long drives.

  1. Day1

    Arrival: Casablanca to Marrakech

You land in Casablanca and your driver is waiting. The drive to Marrakech takes about two and a half hours, and by evening you are walking toward Jemaa el-Fna as the square comes alive.

  2. Day2

    Marrakech, the Red City

Rose-coloured walls, tilework and cool courtyards: Jardin Majorelle, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, the souks and the Koutoubia. Your photo session takes place here, at the hour that suits the light and the weather.

  3. Day3

Across the High Atlas to Aït Benhaddou

The road climbs through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, with photo stops along the way. By late afternoon the ksar of Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO site, turns the colour of honey.

  4. Day4

Palm groves, gorges and the dunes

Skoura’s palm grove, then the Dadès and Todra gorges, and by late afternoon the dunes of Erg Chebbi. A camel carries you into the sand, and the night is spent at a desert camp with dinner and breakfast included.

  5. Day5

    A day in the Sahara

Nothing to catch and nowhere to be. A slow morning, an optional visit to a nomad family, and your desert session on the dunes: the signature frame of the journey. After dinner, the stars.
