Essaouira
Mogador Golf
A Gary Player course among pines, by the ocean.
The story
Golf de Mogador lies just south of Essaouira, in a former pine forest by the Atlantic. Gary Player designed it as a coastal course, open and exposed to the wind, among pines and dunes.
The North course opened in 2009. A second, 13-hole South course was added later.
The wind is part of the game here, as in the rest of Essaouira, and the views reach the ocean.
Signature holes
A par 3 on the North course.
A shorter 13-hole course next to the North course, for a quick round or a second day.
