El Jadida
Mazagan Golf Club
A Gary Player links on the Atlantic dunes.
The story
Mazagan was designed by Gary Player, winner of nine major championships, and opened in 2009 on the Atlantic dunes north of El Jadida. It is a true links: firm greens, wind from the ocean and dunes on every side.
Several holes run close to the Atlantic, and both nines finish close to the beach, near the clubhouse. The course is ranked among the best in Africa.
It is part of a large beach resort, a short drive from the Portuguese City of El Jadida, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
