The journey

Day by day

Sessions suit different levels. Activities may be adjusted for weather, sea conditions and participants; on-site safety decisions are made by the instructor, and participation requirements are explained before booking. Everything by road, in one private van.

  1. Day1

    Arrival in Casablanca

    You land in Casablanca and your driver takes you to the hotel. The evening is yours to rest after the flight.

  2. Day2

    Casablanca to Essaouira

    After breakfast, a short tour of Casablanca with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, seen from outside. Then the Atlantic coast road to Essaouira, about six hours, and check-in at a riad.

  3. Day3

    Essaouira: first surf session

    A session of about 2 hours with your coach. In the afternoon, free time: the beach, the old town of white walls and blue doors, the harbour and the ramparts at sunset.

    Essaouira to Taghazout

    A second session in Essaouira, or a free morning. In the afternoon, about four hours south to Taghazout.

    Taghazout: surf session

    A session of about 2 hours at Taghazout, then the afternoon by the sea: the beach, a café, or a seaside lunch.

    Taghazout: surf or relax

    A shorter session of about 2 hours, or a day to relax. If you prefer, visit the Agadir kasbah, the seafront promenade or the beach.

  7. Day7

    Taghazout to Marrakech

    Inland through the Atlas foothills, with lunch by Lake Lalla Takerkoust. In the afternoon, the Agafay desert, where a sunset experience and the evening are yours.

    Marrakech: a free day

    Time to explore at your pace: the Koutoubia from outside, the medina, the Kasbah and Mellah quarters, with the Bahia and Badi palaces if you wish.

    Departure

    After breakfast, a private transfer to Casablanca airport for your flight home.

Surf sessions included

Sessions with an ISA-certified coach, two guests per coach, on the days listed. A soft surfboard and a full wetsuit are usually provided, and the session is planned around the day’s sea conditions and your level.

During your trip, we communicate with you daily through WeChat, help with requests and coordinate local arrangements. The Chinese-speaking travel concierge is a remote service, not an accompanying Chinese-speaking guide. Local guided visits included in the itinerary are primarily provided in English, as specified in the confirmed itinerary. Request a Chinese-speaking guide before booking; availability and the additional charge must be separately confirmed. Drivers, activity instructors and local guides speak English.
