Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 17 October 2026

1. About us and how to contact us

Ibn Battuta Experience (伊本白图泰) operates the website www.ibnbattuta.cn. It is a brand of Tasweek Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong, registered office: 2301, 23/F Bayfield Building, 99 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong (“we”, “us”). We design and operate private travel experiences in Morocco for travellers from China.

To contact us, message our WeChat Official Account (shown on this website) or write to ask@ibnbattuta.cn.

2. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of our website and to the trips we organise for you. A trip is booked only through a written agreement between you and us (the “Booking Agreement”), which sets out the itinerary, price, payment dates and any special conditions. If the Booking Agreement differs from these terms, the Booking Agreement applies.

Itineraries, reference prices, seasons and photos on our website are for information. They become binding only when confirmed in the Booking Agreement.

By using our website or booking with us, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use our website or book with us. These terms are written in Chinese and English. If the two differ, the Chinese version applies.

3. How booking works

  • Enquiry. You contact us on WeChat and tell us your dates, group size and what you want to do.
  • Design. We prepare a day-by-day itinerary with hotels and a clear price.
  • Confirmation. The trip is confirmed when we send you the Booking Agreement in writing, you accept it, and we receive the deposit.
  • Travel. Local guides lead the guided visits listed in your itinerary (mainly in English). During the trip, our Chinese-speaking travel concierge communicates with you daily on WeChat, helps with requests and coordinates local arrangements; this is a remote service, not an accompanying Chinese-speaking guide.

We organise your trip and are responsible to you for arranging it as described in the Booking Agreement. Hotels, drivers, guides, photographers and other service providers (“Suppliers”) deliver individual services; their own conditions, such as hotel rules, also apply to those services.

The person who books confirms that they are at least 18 years old and have the authority to book for everyone in the group. That person is responsible for passing these terms to every traveller, for giving us accurate names and travel document details, and for the payments due.

4. Prices, payment, cancellations and changes

Our website shows indicative per-person prices, not guaranteed minimum bookable prices. We plan around your requirements and provide the final price after confirming the itinerary and hotel arrangements. Inclusions, exclusions, payment, cancellation and refund conditions are specified in the Booking Agreement.

The payment schedule, the payment methods, what the price includes and excludes, and the conditions for cancellations, changes and refunds are all set out in your Booking Agreement. Please read it carefully before you sign.

Payments are made only to Tasweek Limited, to the account stated in your Booking Agreement. We never ask for card numbers or passwords in a chat message. If you receive payment instructions that do not match your Booking Agreement, contact us before paying.

5. During your trip

Please follow the instructions of your guide, driver and instructors, who may change the programme where safety, weather or local conditions require. We may refuse to continue services to a traveller, without refund, if their behaviour endangers or seriously disturbs others, or breaks the law.

If something is not as it should be, tell your guide or us on WeChat immediately, so that we can fix it on the spot. If you still wish to make a claim, send it to us in writing within 14 days after the trip ends.

6. Our responsibility and its limits

We are responsible to you for arranging your trip with reasonable skill and care, as stated in the Booking Agreement. Where a Supplier does not deliver a service in your Booking Agreement, we will act promptly to put it right or offer an alternative or refund as the Booking Agreement and the law require.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims connected with a trip is limited to the price you paid for that trip, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Travel documents. You are responsible for valid passports, visas and entry requirements for all travellers. We are not liable if a traveller is refused boarding or entry because of their documents.

Travel insurance. Travel insurance is not included in the trip price and is optional, but we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for the whole trip, covering medical expenses, emergency evacuation, cancellation and personal belongings. Before buying, check with the insurer the geographical cover and the cover and restrictions for your chosen activities. Costs of medical care and evacuation are paid by you or your insurer.

Health and activities. For activities such as surfing, golf, yoga and hiking, you take part at your own risk, following the instructions of your guide or instructor. Please tell us before the trip about any health condition, injury or pregnancy that may affect you or your group.

Belongings and delays. We are not liable for loss of or damage to your belongings, or for delays caused by traffic, flights or other events outside our control.

Force majeure. We are not liable, and do not owe compensation, if we cannot perform because of events outside our reasonable control, such as war or threat of war, riots, civil unrest, terrorism, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, severe weather, epidemic or pandemic, government restrictions or travel advisories, and similar events. In that case we will help you rearrange the trip or refund the services not provided, as far as we can recover them from Suppliers.

7. Photography

Photography sessions included in your trip are carried out by a professional photographer, and retouched photos are delivered to you after the trip, as stated in your Booking Agreement. Light, weather and the cooperation of the places visited affect the results, so we cannot guarantee particular images, and a session may be moved within the trip if conditions require.

The photographer and we keep the copyright in the photos. You receive the right to use them for personal, non-commercial purposes, including sharing them on social media. You must not sell them or use them commercially without our written permission. If other travellers appear in the photos, please respect their privacy.

We use photos of you for our own marketing, and keep them in our portfolio, only if you give us separate written consent. You may refuse or withdraw this consent at any time without any effect on your trip.

8. Privacy

How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy at www.ibnbattuta.cn/privacy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Using our website

Our website is free to use. We may update, suspend or withdraw it for operational reasons. We try to keep it available and accurate but are not responsible for losses caused by unavailability or errors outside our control.

We own or are licensed to use the content of this website. You may use it for personal purposes and may not use it commercially without our written permission. Some images are illustrative and may be generated or enhanced with artificial intelligence. They are labelled where the law requires.

Links to other websites are for information. We do not endorse those websites and are not responsible for them. Please use the website lawfully and do not use it for harmful, fraudulent or illegal activity.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in law, our services or our business. The updated terms appear on this page with their date. They apply to bookings you confirm after that date. A trip you have already confirmed stays under the terms that applied when you confirmed it.

11. General, governing law and disputes

The Booking Agreement and these terms are the whole agreement between you and us about your trip. If any part is found invalid, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we do not give it up. No other person has rights under them.

These terms and each Booking Agreement are governed by the law of Hong Kong. This does not remove any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of the place where you live.

If you have a problem, please tell us first so that we can resolve it. If we cannot agree within 30 days, the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Contact

For questions about these terms, contact us on WeChat (our Official Account shown on this website) or at ask@ibnbattuta.cn. We welcome your questions, feedback and suggestions and will reply promptly.
