Toubkal Trek
A three-day trek from the Imlil valley to the summit of Toubkal, with a cook and porters, framed by Casablanca, Marrakech, the Agafay desert and Essaouira.
Website prices are indicative. Final costs depend on group size, dates, hotels and the confirmed itinerary, and are specified in the Booking Agreement.
The journey
Day by day
The days between are by road, in one private van. Suited to travellers who enjoy long days on foot. Activities may be adjusted for weather, local conditions and participants; on-site safety decisions are made by the guide, and participation requirements are explained before booking.

Arrival in Casablanca
You are welcomed in Casablanca and taken to your hotel. An afternoon visit to the Hassan II Mosque and the old medina, then an evening to rest.

Casablanca to Marrakech
After breakfast, south toward Marrakech through fertile plains and the foothills of the High Atlas. The afternoon is free for Jemaa el-Fna and the souks.

Marrakech and the Agafay desert
A relaxed morning, then into the Agafay desert, a stony landscape just outside Marrakech, with a camel ride, quad biking and a dinner show. Back in Marrakech around 22:30.

Marrakech to Imlil
By road to Imlil, a village at 1,750 m in the High Atlas, through valleys and Berber villages. Time to prepare for the trek.

Trek: Imlil to the Azzaden valley
Your first trekking day, about 7 hours on foot, from Imlil into the Azzaden valley at about 2,300 m, along streams and past villages. The night is in a mountain refuge.

About 8 hours on foot through rocky terrain and alpine meadows to the Toubkal refuge, where you spend the night before the summit.

Toubkal summit and back to Imlil
An early start for the summit of Toubkal, at 4,167 m, with views across the Atlas. You then descend to Imlil, about 10 hours on foot in total.

From the mountains to the Atlantic coast and the white walls of Essaouira. The afternoon is for the medina, the harbour and a seafood dinner.

The Atlantic coast road north to Casablanca, with viewpoints along the way. Your last evening is in Casablanca.

A private transfer to the airport for your flight home.

The Chinese-speaking travel concierge is a remote service, not an accompanying Chinese-speaking guide. Local guided visits included in the itinerary are primarily provided in English, as specified in the confirmed itinerary. Request a Chinese-speaking guide before booking; availability and the additional charge must be separately confirmed. Drivers, activity instructors and local guides speak English.
