Day by day

No desert in the programme. All by road, with a night’s rest between the long drives.

  1. Day1

    Arrival in Casablanca

    You land in Casablanca and your driver takes you to the hotel. The evening is yours to rest.

    Casablanca to Rabat

    Morning at the Hassan II Mosque, with your photo session on the seafront esplanade. Then an hour’s drive to Rabat, with the evening free.

  3. Day3

    Rabat to Tangier

    The blue-and-white lanes of the Kasbah des Oudayas, the Hassan Tower and the Mohammed V mausoleum. In the afternoon, about three hours north to Tangier.

  4. Day4

    Tangier, where two seas meet

    A full day: Cap Spartel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, the Caves of Hercules, and the old medina and kasbah above the strait.

  5. Day5

    Into the Rif mountains

    The road climbs to Chefchaouen, the blue town. The afternoon is for settling in and scouting the lanes you will photograph tomorrow in the morning light.

  6. Day6

    Blue at first light

    Early, while the medina is quiet, your photo session among the blue alleys and stairways. Then about four hours to Fès, with the evening free.

  7. Day7

    Fès to Marrakech

    A morning in the Fès medina with a local guide: Bab Bou Jeloud, the blue gate, the tanneries and the souks. Then the long road south, about seven hours with a break on the way, to Marrakech.

  8. Day8

    Marrakech, the Red City

    Rose-coloured walls, tilework and cool courtyards: Jardin Majorelle, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, the souks and the Koutoubia. Your photo session takes place here, at the hour that suits the light and the weather. The afternoon and dinner are in the Agafay desert, close to the city, with no photo session unless you ask for one.

  9. Day9

    Departure

    A transfer from Marrakech to Casablanca airport, about three hours by road, for your flight home. An evening flight works best.

Designed with 3 sessions with a professional photographer, marked in the days above. Like everything on your journey, the number and the places can be tailored to you. Retouched photos are delivered after the trip.

Request a Chinese-speaking guide before booking; availability and the additional charge must be separately confirmed. Drivers, activity instructors and local guides speak English.
